The Walthour Road closure to repair and stabilize the roadway shoulders, resurface the roadway and install a new sidewalk will be extended to October 31, 2026. 

The contractor encountered unanticipated site conditions during construction that has delayed completion of the sheet pile wall and drainage structures.  Construction is on-going and the contractor has committed to working on the project 7 days a week until the roadway can be re-opened.
