Notice and Explanation of 2026 Property Tax Increase and Current Digest and Five-Year History and Dates for Budget and Millage Hearings
The Chatham County Board of Commissioners has tentatively adopted a millage rate which will require an increase in property taxes by 3.24 percent in General Maintenance and Operations taxes, an increase in property taxes by 3.67 percent in Special Service District taxes and an increase in property taxes by 3.30 percent in Chatham Area Transit Authority taxes.
