Winter Weather Advisory and Extreme Cold Warning issue for Chatham County
Dangerously cold temperatures will move into our area Saturday evening and continue through Monday morning. Temperatures will drop into the low 20s, with wind chill temperatures dropping below 10 degrees. About 1 inch of snow is expected Saturday afternoon into Sunday.

Gov101: Stephens-Day Exemption
If you owned your home as of January 1, you're eligible for the Stephens-Day Homestead Exemption. Stephens-Day has been saving Chatham County residents money since 1999, by freezing your home’s taxable value to that of the base year, or the first year you owned it.
