McQueen’s Trail will be closed to the public beginning August 3, 2026, until further notice as Chatham County begins a restoration project to repair damage caused by Hurricanes Debby and Helene.

Updates will be provided as the project progresses and information becomes available regarding the trail’s reopening. Residents and visitors are asked to respect the closure and avoid entering the trail area while work is underway.
